Hi everyone. In my following scenario involving company ABC - I'd like to know if it's possible to have recurring invoices go to employee1_at_abc.com (as this was the email i used during the setup of the company ABC) and have statements go to employee2_at_abc.com without having to manually edit each statement every time.

Thanks

Hi there Goonigoogoo,

Making sure that your transactions are sent to the correct employee is important to managing the sales of your business. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to help you keep track of what each customer owes you and which invoices are unpaid. I can provide you some information about emailing invoices and statements.

Each customer can have only one default email address, so if you have your employee's email set up as a default email for your customer, it'll be the default for both recurring invoices as well as statements. if you need it to go to a different address, it'll need to be entered manually.

if you're talking about carbon copies as well as blind carbon copies, I can provide more information on that. You can set up to have a default email address to be added as a cc or bcc for new invoices by navigating to the Gear icon, then Account and settings. Go into the Sales menu, then select the Messages section. You can add an address here to receive a cc or bcc of each new invoice sent from the system. When it comes to statements, however, there's no option to set a default cc or bcc.

I can see how having multiple emails for different transaction types per customer would be something interesting for you and your business. You can submit feedback by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. Comments made in this section are taken into consideration when our developers design new features for QuickBooks Online
