Discount option is not showing while creating invoice for client.

Offering discounts to your customers is a great way to encourage loyal client relationships. QuickBooks Online makes it easy for you to discount your customers by a percentage or dollar amount. If you're not seeing the option to discount your invoice total, follow the steps I've outlined below to get back on track. 

Ensure you've turned on the discount setting:

1. Click the Gear icon.

2. Select Account and Settings.

3. Click Sales tab.

4. Click the pencil icon under Sales form content.

5. Put a mark into the box next to Discount.

6. Click Save and Done.

If you're using an invoice template, you can edit the template by following the steps below:

1.Click the Gear icon.

2. Select Custom Form Styles.

3. Select the invoice template, and click Edit.

4. Click the Content tab, and then click the pencil icon at the bottom of the invoice.

5. Put a check mark into the box next to Discount.

6. Click Done.

If you've adjusted the above settings and the option for a discount still isn't available on your invoices, follow the browser troubleshooting tips below. 

Try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser to remove any stored Internet files that may be causing problems. These files can build up over time and cause bugs in the program. Here's how to do it: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, try using an incognito window in Google Chrome. This is a private window that runs independently from the rest of your browser. Here's more information about what that is and how to use it: Browse in private. You can also try using an alternative browser all together.
