Question

Do classes assigned to products/services stay with them when you invoice?

I created services and assigned them to their respective classes. Then I created a couple of bundles for my billing. If I create an invoice and use the individual services, the classes appear. However, if I use one of my bundled services the classes are gone and I have to re-enter them manually. This seems incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there,

QuickBooks is a great program for managing your products and services. Our Class feature makes it easy to stay organized with your products and services. I'll be happy to share more info on that.

First, I'd like to start by doing some troubleshooting to determine if this isn't a browser related issue. When was the last time you cleared cache and cookies on your browser? Doing this will help fix most issues the site may be having. Here's an article which shows you how to do that: How to clear Cache and Cookies.

Give this a try and if you're still having issues, I recommend contacting our support team using this link.

Having the same issue. What I have found is that when you create the bundle there is nowhere to select the class - as you can when you create a new item. So, when you select your bundle, it populates the items without the classifications. I'm using a reoccurring transaction to resolve this problem.
