Does anyone have issues with adding negative amounts to invoices with an android phone ??(For example showing clients they gave a deposit)I have a Google pixel 6Thanks

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  It's important that you're able to record your transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online.  I'd be happy to provide some insight here, so you're on the right track with your QuickBooks goals!

 

 After creating a retainer or deposit item you can turn it into a credit on your invoices.  However, keep in mind that you can't enter an amount greater than the invoice total.  Although the invoice can have a 'zero' total, it can't be negative.  I'd also suggest logging into your QuickBooks Online account from a web browser for the best possible outcome when creating your forms.
