Question

Does anyone know the best way to add waivers to estimates and invoices, and where to find what content should typically be in these waivers?

My insurance company is asking about Work Orders, Waivers, Customer details, and places for customers to sign off on completed work. Any ideas on these issues?

Hello nocoastmarine-gm,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. QuickBooks is a powerful program that simplifies the way you manage your accounting. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track with your work.

Since you're working with invoices and estimates, I can see the benefit of being able to accurately record your waivers. That being said, I highly recommend consulting your account for professional accounting advice on the best way you can add the waivers. You can search for an accounting expert on our site using this link here. Otherwise, I suggest utilizing the line items and the discount feature offered in QB in order to apply the waivers.

Let me know if this info helps. I'll be a message away in case you need anything else.
