Question

Does anyone use a portable printer for invoicing on the jobsite and for customers who do not have an email to send the invoice to? If so, what printer are you using?

Hey Jryksen,

I bought one YEARS ago after doing a lot of research at the time and came up with a HP Portable like the officejet 250 below, but it was SO expensive relative to a non-portable option. Googling them today I can see that has not changed. The concept is neat, but truthfully I found myself rarely using it, and even then it was only an excuse to use it if I'm honest, to justify the purchase I ended up taking it camping so my kids could print coloring pages. It now gathers dust in some cupboard somewhere.

I'd say stick to the built in "email your Invoice" feature of QBO and save your money. Not too many people deal in paper copies anymore from what I can see.

The added benefit of emailing invoices from QBO is that it shows you if someone has viewed the Invoice etc. and if you want to use their built-in Payments feature it's actually quite handy to get paid by Credit Card, but that's optional.

A Cheer would be nice or
