Does Quickbook Online calculate total sales solely from all the invoices creates?

QuickBooks calculates anything that:

• Hits an income account
• Uses sales tax    

So if you make a journal entry and one of the tax codes in it is sales related, QBO will track that. Let me know if you have further questions. I'm here to help. :)
