Donation receipts

We are a charity that received donations regularly. Has anyone been able to customize the sales receipt for issuing donation receipts? Ideally we would like to issue one statement at the end of the year for all donations received from each donor rather than multiple receipts during the year. I wonder if sales statement can be customized as a donation receipt?

Welcome to Community!  It's essential that you're able to issue receipts for charitable donations.  QuickBooks Online has the versatility you need to record and track donations as a sales receipt or a deposit.  I'd be happy to help!

 

Once you've set up an account to track the donated funds, you'll need to set up a donation item.  If you receive the donation immediately, you can create a sales receipt, or if you're just recording the funds, create a bank deposit instead.  Here's a helpful guide for your reference, to track funds received from donors in QuickBooks Online.
