Hi StealthyRaptor,

Welcome to the Community. Being able to snap a picture of your receipts is essential to keeping your books organized. QuickBooks Online is a flexible program that simplifies the way you manage your books. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction to get the support you need regarding the receipt snapping function.

If you're getting this error on the mobile app, I'd encourage you to uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure it's up to date. This usually clears out most issues the mobile app is having. You may also try emailing the receipts, save them to a folder and upload them to the receipt feature to see if you get the same result.

If this error appears on the browser, this can be caused by browser cache and cookies as they can prevent the system from functioning efficiently. I encourage you to take the following steps to perform browser troubleshooting.
.

If you're still having problems with the receipt function, I recommend that you contact our customer support as they can have a closer look at how to resolve this. Here are some options available to reach out to our team.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
