QBO doesn't provide the sales order feature. You can utilize estimate as a workaround or a 3rd party app with the sales order feature.

Hi there mhsales-live-ca,

It's vital that all your transactions be entered properly so that your books can be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can view the profit of your business. I can provide some information about sales orders.

As mentioned by Fiat Lux - ASIA, Sales orders aren't a form available in QuickBooks Online. You can use an Estimate instead of the sales order, as it can then be converted into an invoice. I can see how having a separate form for sales orders would be a feature you'd like to see in the software. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then feedback. The comments in that section are taken into consideration by our developers when designing new features for QuickBooks Online.
