Hello, is there a way I can view the email that was sent with the invoice? "please find attached invoice ...."?

Hello, 

 

Sending invoices to your customers directly from your QuickBooks Online account is a great way to streamline your bookkeeping and save you time. I can see why you may want to review the invoice emails once you send them to your customers. I'll explain how this feature works. 

 

Once an invoice or sales form is emailed to your customer, there's no way to view the email itself. You can still view the sales form, and whether or not it was sent, but the email isn't accessible. Don't worry, there's a really simple workaround you can use in order to make sure you always have the ability to see the email after it's sent. 

All you have to do is enter your own email as a "Cc" or "Bcc" recipient from the invoice creation screen. Doing so will mean that you'll receive a copy of the email and sales form along with your customer. 

I know how handy it would be to be able to view the email you send from QuickBooks without having to send yourself a copy. If this is something you'd like to see implemented in the program in the future, please leave us feedback by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback
