Question

Hi, I'm amazon seller and I think I need to put the detail such as amazon fees, sales, advertising fees etc. But it's shown only income from the bank that I got once every 2weeks. How can I put every detail from Amazon seller central.

Hello suna9111-gmail-c,

When it comes to tracking your income and expenses, it's important to know not only what you need to track, but how you can track it. I'd be happy to get you on the right track with determining if you need to track each of these items and how to do so in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I want to start by highlighting that it may be useful to consult an accountant. You note that you think you need to track detail such as fees, advertising, and other Amazon-related transactions, but I want to ensure that you know for certain whether you need to track these or not. Consulting an accountant is a great way to ensure that you know what to track so that you don't run into trouble with your remittances later.

If you do need to track these other items, such as fees, it may mean manually entering the transactions through the Transactions tab if you don't see them coming in via your bank feed. QuickBooks Self-Employed is a simplified version of the software, so working with expenses and income is also fairly easy. In the Transactions tab, you can click Add Transaction and then enter the details for your entry. This article can help: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed

If you'd like further guidance with this process or to discuss other options, feel free to contact the QuickBooks Self-Employed team directly using the steps below.

  1. Select the Assistant feature.
  2. Type and enter "talk to human" in the chat.
  3. Follow the prompts.

This gives us the opportunity to work with you one-on-one to ensure that your questions are being answered and you know what steps to take next.

Wishing you the best with this!
