Hello Ken-onuzulike,

Thanks for reaching out in Community! Projects is a great tool you can use in QuickBooks Online to track job costs and keep everything organized in one place. You can run project-specific reports, and easily view all the transactions associated with the project. I can give you a hand with this.

With the QuickBooks Online Projects feature, you're not able to edit the customer that's already assigned to a Project. You're able to edit the name of the project and include any notes in the Notes section. If you want to assign the correct customer to the same project, you'll need to delete the project and create a new one with the correct customer assigned. To delete the project, click on the Projects tab on the left-menu, click on the drop-down arrow under the Action column and select Delete. I recommend noting all the transactions or important information for the project before you delete it, so you can recreate it with the correct customer.

Here's more information about the Projects feature in QuickBooks Online: Projects FAQ.
