Question

Home currency is CDN. I invoice and get paid in USD. When I go to allocate the transaction. USD payment to USD invoice, it doesn't process. I assume this is due to CDN?

Do I need to create another account? What steps do I follow to pay a usd invoice with usd funds?

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks is a versatile program that helps you streamline your accounting. Rest assured, I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right path. 

 

It's also important to note that all funds are processed in Canadian dollars. As a workaround, I suggest checking out PayPal integration or other Payment processing apps on our app store. These payment apps can be integrated with QBO using third-party apps which you can find on our site http://www.apps.com. Once you're on the site, you can enter the name of the payment app you're using or would like to use and hit search in order to see the results.
