How are you accounting for gift card sales and purchases that use the gift card for payment?

Before getting started, you'll need to set up a liability account for the gift certificates.  I recommend reaching out to your accountant for additional assistance with setting this up, as you see necessary.  If you don't have an accountant, we can assist you with locating a ProAdvisor in your local area.  Once you've set up the account, you'll need to create the gift certificates in your products and services to be added to your transactions.  You'll find the additional information for selling and redeeming gift cards or certificates here.
