How do i apply a discount to one product or service only rather than apply a discount to the entire invoice?

Offering discounts to your customers is a great way to gain their loyalty and generate more sales in the future. With QuickBooks Online, you can apply a discount directly to your invoice in a few easy steps. However, applying a discount to a specific product or service within the invoice is not an integrated feature of the system. That being said, you can change the Discount box setting to Discount value so you can input a specific amount instead of a percentage. This allows you to control the value of the discount you're offering. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Select the (+) icon on the top right corner
2. Select Invoice
3. Input the invoice details
4. Select Discount percent and change it to Discount value from the drop-down menu
5. Input the discount amount
6. Select Save or Save and send as needed
