How do i change the HST number that appears on my invoices?

It's awesome to have you as a part of the QuickBooks Online family! Making sure your forms to customers are displaying the correct information is an important part of managing your business. I'll gladly show you the way to change that number in just a few easy steps.

1. Select Taxes from the left menu.
2. Choose Manage Sales Tax on the Sales Tax screen.
3. Select the down arrow beside Add rate for the tax agency related to the sales tax code you need to change the number for.
4. Click Edit agency settings.
5. Change the HST number.
6. Click Save.

Doing this changes the HST number across the program since the forms that display it pull from this setup area. You can edit this number as needed so you can be confident that you have the correct details on your forms.
