Question

How do I change the status of job time activity when it's showing "closed" and it should "open"? There is no invoice associated with the time activities.

Hello,

Time activities will show “Closed” when they are linked to another transaction such as an invoice etc. To make it “Open” once again, you will need to locate the transaction it is linked to, then select the “Remove” icon by selecting the "1linked transaction" hyperlink in the top left-hand corner of the transaction it is linked to.

To help you locate the transaction it is linked to, you can now connect with a QuickBooks Online Support agent from right inside your QuickBooks Online Product, and they can connect screens to assist:
