Hello, 

 

Sending invoices to customers is one of the most vital aspects of running a small business. QuickBooks Online helps make this process quick and simple, giving you the option to email invoices directly from the program. You can also download your invoices as PDF documents, to save or send in a way that works for you. I'd be happy to help share some information regarding saving your invoice as a PDF to send. 

 

To save an invoice as a PDF, follow these steps: 

 

1. Click the Sales tab on the left navigation menu.

2. Click Invoices

3. Locate your invoice and click to open.

4. At the bottom of the page, click Print or Preview.

5. Save your document from the PDF preview (steps will vary based on whether you're using Mac or PC, and which program opens the file). 

 

That's all there is to it. Once saved to your computer, you can attach it to an email outside of QuickBooks in order to send the PDF to your customer.
