How do I enter a deposit on an estimate?Thank you.

We can't directly apply a deposit to an estimate. Instead, you'll need to convert it to an invoice.

1. Open the estimate and click the Create invoice button.
   
2. Add more details to the invoice if needed and click Save and close.

Before you can add the deposit to an invoice, you'll need to turn on the Deposit field. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
2. Select the Sales tab and go to the Sales form content section.
3. Mark the Deposit field.
4. Click Save and Done.
   

Then, you can go back to the invoice and enter the deposit amount in the Deposit field.

You can also create a bank deposit and apply it as payment for the invoice.
