How do I make a business vender into a customer?

It's great you're using QuickBooks to manage your vendors and customers. I'll be glad to share more info which will help steer you in the right direction. 

Since vendors and suppliers are totally separate variables in QuickBooks, you'll have to add a new customer using the vendor info. The reason I suggest this is that there isn't a way to automatically convert a vendor into a supplier yet. I'll show you how to create a new customer but before I do, it's important to note that a vendor and a suppler cannot have the same name. You can make the names different by slightly changing the name or by adding a character to the names. 

Here's how to create a customer: 

1. Go to Sales, then select Customers.
2. Select New Customer.
3. Enter your customer’s info.
4. Select Save.
