How do I pull a P&L based on the memo line?

It's important that all your transactions be entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profitability of your company. I can provide some information about the profit and loss.

There isn't the option to sort or filter transactions by their memo in QuickBooks Online. I can see that this would be a feature that you'd like to see to help you with report customization. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration by our developers when designing new features for QuickBooks Online.

If you use Classes, Products/Services or Tags, I believe you can adjust your P&L to pull just that selection. You'd have to run the P&L and then select "Display Columns By" and then Run Report.  This should pull all the entries that line up with your selection.  

To be honest, I'm not sure how accurate this is as I've only used it for generic ballpark info and not as a final P&L statement.
