Hello ocarbonn,

It's vital you're able to recover a partially invoiced estimate and I'll be glad to steer you in the right direction. QuickBooks is an easy-to-navigate program that simplifies the way you handle your invoicing. Accidents like these are common and I'll share details on how to recover deleted entries on your account.

While there isn't a way to automatically restore a partially invoiced estimate, you can use the Audit log to trace back your entries and re-create them again. The Audit Log tracks user login/logout activity, changes to settings, customers, suppliers, and employees. In order to find the entries from before, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. If you've recently created these transactions, locate them on the Audit log screen, click on the blue link to open the transaction in question. From here you can use those details to recreate the transaction again so it reflects on your account with correct amounts.
  5. Select Apply.

Give this a try and if you have questions, don't hesitate to reach back, I'm here to assist.
