How do I run a report that shows overdue invoices

Based on what you've described, here's how to run a report which shows overdue invoices: 

1. Select Reports from the left menu
2. Scroll down to the Who owes you section
3. Click on the Open Invoices report
4. Select the Report period
5. Click Run Report
