How do I take payment with a credit card on the app with a Canadian postal code?

I have payments set up and use it. But customers sometimes want to pay in person....and the app always asks for zip code not postal code

It's great to learn you're taking advantage of the powerful payments feature offered in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to provide more info so you're on the right track with achieving your QuickBooks goals. 

 

Normally, when your customer makes a payment they can enter a postal code. However, if this option isn't showing, I recommend having your customer clear cache and cookies on their browser. Clearing cache and cookies helps fix most issues the site may be having. Here's an article that shows you how to do that: How to clear cache and cookies. Give this a try and let me know what happens. In case they get the same error again, I recommend contacting our support team so they can investigate the type of error your client is getting and assist with fixing it.
