HOW DO I UNDO A PAYMENT FROM AN INVOICE?

Sometimes it's necessary to undo a payment on an invoice and I'll be excited to show you how. With QuickBooks, you can effortlessly keep track of your transactions while working on other things. The beauty about this is you can get your work done faster saving you time for the things you love. 

In order to remove a payment on an invoice, follow the steps below: 

1.     Click on Sales from the left menu > select Invoices.
2.     Open the invoice in question and click on 1 payment made (there can be more than one payment) link under the PAID status.
3.     Click on the date link to open the payment transaction.
4.     At the bottom of your screen, click on More.
5.     Choose Delete.
6.     Select Yes to confirm.
