Question

How do you send a copy of the invoice or estimate to my own email, this used to be a box you ticked when creating them but has now been removed.

Thanks for taking the time to post here in the QuickBooks Community, @allrightbooks-sh.

I can definitely help you out with updating your email settings for invoices and estimates.

There are 2 areas in the program to send the transactions to your email. I will show you through the steps below.

If you want the system to send you emailed copied of customer transactions every time you create them, enable it in the Company settings. Here'show:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then choose Accounts and Settings.
  2. Go to the Sales tab.
  3. Scroll down and choose Messages.
  4. Mark the box for Email me a copy at Email me a copy at [company email address]. However, if you're using a different email, add it on the Copy (Cc) new invoices to address or Blind Copy (Bcc) new invoices to address fields.
  5. Click Save, then Done.

If this is not permanent, and you'd like to send an entry to yourself once, do it right on the invoice or estimate. Here's how:

  1. Open the transaction.
  2. In the Customer email section, click Cc/Bcc link.
  3. Enter your email and click Done.
  4. Add all other details of the invoice.
  5. Click on Save and send.

Post here again if you have other concerns with QuickBooks sales transaction settings. I'll be more than happy to help you out. Have a nice day!
