How i can find a missing invoice number

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help keep your books balanced. I would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Making sure you're able to locate all of your transactions is important. With that being said, there are a few ways you can find your missing invoices.

The first option:

1- Head to the Gear icon

2- Under the TOOLs section, click on Audit log. Here you can view if the invoice has been edited or deleted.

The second option would be to enter the Invoice number in the search bar at the top of the page, beside the Help icon. Another option you have is to click on the  +New then invoice. At the top of the invoice on the left, you'll see a clock icon, this is the history of all invoices. You can also head to Bookkeeping > All sales > then filter to view only invoice.  You can go through the list and see if your invoice is in the list. I hope this helps!
