Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, brtcanada!

Thanks for being a part of the QuickBooks family. I can absolutely help you configure QST in your QuickBooks Online account so you can add it to your invoices.

Setting up sales tax is a simple process. If you haven't configured any sales tax codes yet, follow these steps.

  1. Select Taxes from the left menu.
  2. Click Set up sales tax.
  3. Choose the Province or territory you need.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Configure the Agency settings.
  6. Click Next and then Got it to complete the setup.

If you already have sales tax set up but now need to add the Quebec codes, here's how to do that from the Sales Tax centre, accessed by selecting Taxes from the left menu.

  1. Click Manage sales tax.
  2. Choose Add tax.
  3. Select Add next to Provincial.
  4. Choose the Province or territory.
  5. Enter the Agency settings.
  6. Click Add.

Once you've got everything set up, you'll see the Sales Tax option on your invoices and be able to choose the tax code you need from the drop-down menu in that column. The program will do the calculations for you, then display the amounts in the Subtotal.

Give that a shot and let me know how it goes!
