How to display individual Sub-Item NAME & DESCRIPTION of each product/service when adding a BUNDLE to an estimate or invoice?

Using Quickbook Essentials:

 

The only time I ever want a client to see the descriptions of services is when I send an estimate, so I have a custom Estimate template setup to display descriptions.  This works fine for when I am adding individual services to an estimate manually.

 

However, when I add a BUNDLE to an estimate and preview the pdf, it only shows the name of the Bundle and the Bundle's description. It does NOT show the individual names and descriptions of each service within that bundle.

 

The workaround is, within the estimate creation screen, I can add the Bundle, then manually drag/move each service outside of the Bundle's subsection (above the bundle), then delete the Bundle.  When I preview the pdf, it will show the items and the descriptions.  Doing it this way is faster than trying to remember what services are in the bundle, finding them in the product list, and adding them all without forgetting any... however...  this is obviously a lot of extra work and not sustainable solution.

 

So the question is, how can you display a Bundle's SUB-ITEM names and descriptions on an estimate or invoice?

Welcome to the Community. It's essential to record your products/services on your estimates and invoices in order to keep track of your books. QuickBooks Online is great program that gives you the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to provide with some information regarding the option to display individual sub-Item name & description of each product/service when adding a bundle to an estimate or invoice.

 

At the moment, the system does not offer the option to display individual sub-Item when adding a bundle to an estimate or invoice. You'd need to add the sub-item individually as an item in order to display it on the invoice pdf.
