Hi there,

Your customer list is always evolving. Customers come and go, but it's important that your accounting software is flexible enough to adjust alongside your business. QuickBooks Online makes it really simple to make customers inactive, and reactivate them if they return in the future. I'll explain the steps for how to reactivate a customer.

Here's what you'll do:

1. Click the Sales tab on the left navigation menu.

2. Select Customers

3. Click the small Gear icon on the right hand side of the customer list.

4. Check off the box next to "Include inactive"

5. Inactive customers will show as "(deleted)". Simply click Make active next to their name.

Simple as that! If you'd like to hide the remaining inactive customers, navigate back to the small Gear icon, and uncheck the box to Include inactive.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers!
