I accidentally deleted an invoice. Can I get it back?

Hi annette-maverick,

 

Welcome to Community!  When items are accidentally deleted in QuickBooks Online, the action cannot be undone.  However, you can enter it again if you have the required information. I would be happy to help!

 

You can go into the Audit log to review the item. Here's how;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and choose Audit Log

2. Select All users then use the ▼ dropdown menu to choose a Date changed 

4. For the Events field, select Deleted/Voided transactions from the ▼ dropdown menu

5. Locate the deleted invoice in the list

6. Hit View in the History column

7. Select the Print icon, to obtain a copy of the details, as you feel necessary

8. Once you've have the transaction details, select +New from the left menu, then choose the transaction you need to recreate.
