I added my gst number but later got a different one I need to change this to reflect on my invoices and the system. I do not see an option for me to edit this.

Hello guyandgalhauling,

Welcome! It's great to have you with us in QuickBooks community. I know that sometimes business information might change and when it does, you need to update it. Don't worry, it's just a few steps that are pretty easy once you know where to go. I'll outline them for you below.

  1. Select the Taxes tab from the left menu.
  2. Ensure you're in the Sales Tax area (Note: If you have payroll set up on your account, you'll see Sales and Payroll tax in the taxes tab).
  3. Choose Manage Sales Tax.
  4. Click the down arrow beside Add rate for the appropriate sales tax agency (Example: Canada Revenue Agency).
  5. Click Edit Agency Settings.
  6. Change the sales tax number as needed.
  7. Click Save.

The number will have been updated and should reflect the new one on your sales forms.

Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!
