Question

I am a Canadian customer and need to invoice in USD. I am on the easy start plan and don't need to do this often so don't want to upgrade. is there a workaround?

I don't want to upgrade my plan as this wouldn't happen often. Could I temporarily change my home currency and then change it back?

Hey there kyrani-kyranikan,

Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help keep your books balanced. I would be happy to provide some information.

At this time, there isn't a way to change your home currency and then change it back. In order to be able to use the Multicurrency feature, you would need to upgrade your account. I can see how being able to change the home currency would be beneficial for you and your company. I recommend leaving feedback by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and update for QuickBooks.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

Signup for a Wise Business account and create a USD account to accept payments in USD by ACH or Wire.
