Question

I am billing multiple jobs on the same invoce , I write my description and then underneath I enter my product /services for. QB groups the same product/serice I dont want

I'm here to help you with your invoice transaction, @kylesellar18.

 

These may be grouped by the same product/service on the Content activity options. Let's figure that out by looking into the form template you're using.

 

Here's how to modify your invoice content:

 

  1. Click on the Gear Icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Locate the invoice template you're using and click Edit.
  3. Select the Content tab and click the middle portion of the sample invoice.
  4. Click the Show more activity options.
  5. Make sure to unchecked the Group activity by and Collapse activity rows.
  6. Click Done.

Create a dummy invoice with multiple jobs and click the Print or Preview to check if they are grouped separately even if it's using the same product/service.
