Hi there.

I can see the importance of being able to create estimates and that's something I'd be happy to help you with. QuickBooks offers tools and resources which help you seamlessly manage your business.

An estimate is used when you want to give your customer a quote or a proposal for work. Here's how to create one:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Under Customers, select Estimate.
  3. Select a Customer. Choose a status on the drop-down under the customer's name (optional).
  4. Verify the  Estimate Date, then enter the Expiration Date (optional).
  5. Enter the Product/Service, Description, Qty, Rate, Amount, Tax, Message (optional), and Discount (optional).
  6. Select Save and close.

If you'd like to add the estimate to an invoice, I recommend checking out this helpful article here which shows you how.

There you go! You're now able to create an estimate using QuickBooks Online. If you have any trouble, don't hesitate to reach out as we're here to help you win. Here's a link with our contact details. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your week.
