I am trying to correct an invoice with a deposit that was not correctly done. But it says their client will see the invoice - which I do not want. How do I do this?

You can edit the invoice with the correct information, jaimewood08.

 

However, once the invoice is sent, your client can view it anytime. You can inform your client to disregard the first invoice you sent.

 

Here's how to edit existing invoice:

  1. Click Sales, then go to the Customers tab.
  2. Choose the customer, then look for the invoice.
  3. Enter correct invoice information.
  4. Click Save and send.
