Thanks for connecting with us here.   QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program that allows you complete your daily tasks with peace of mind.  It's essential that you're able to save your work and I'll be happy to help!

 

When situations like this happen, we recommend clearing cache on your browser and then log into your account with a private or incognito browser, to see if you get the same result.  This type of unexpected behavior can also be associated with user permissions.  In addition, if an account falls inactive the save options will no longer be available until the account is active. Please check the account status by going to > Settings ⚙ > Account and settings > Billing and subscription
