Question

I bill one of my clients using their invoice form and then they send the payment. What's a best practice technique for recording this?

Welcome to the Community. It's essential to correctly record your transactions to keep your books up to date. QuickBooks Online is a great program that gives you the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd be glad to help.

 

QuickBooks Online offers the ability to create an invoice and record payment. You can create an invoice to enter your transaction and record the invoice payment in QuickBooks Online
