I can't add tax on my invoices like I always did and I don't know what happened. How can I add it?

Hi aleksandras1,

Welcome to the QuickBooks community, It's great that you're here! This is the place where all our members get together and share ideas and information to help one another out. Having your sales tax show on every invoice is required to make sure you can accurately file it with the government. I'd be happy to help you get this resolved.

As long as sales tax is enabled in your QuickBooks Online account it'll allow you to add the code to an invoice so you can track it to the proper account and agency. Not only is adding a sales tax code as quick as clicking a button it's easy too. If you're not able to select a sales tax code in your bills or invoices this could be due to your browsers health. I recommend clearing your cache and cookies to see if that corrects it. You can follow the steps in this article on how to clear them for your internet browser. Once that's done you can also log into QuickBooks Online using a private browser such as Google Chromes Incognito mode or a different internet browser all together. Another option is trying a different computer incase it's a security setting or computer update that is now preventing QuickBooks to work properly.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach back out and we'd be happy to help!
