Hi there,

I appreciate you reaching out to the Community. It's vital you're able to find the invoice so you can get back to managing your business.

QuickBooks is great for saving your work for later. Since you're not seeing the invoice, there's a chance that it didn't completely save or it was delete. Don't worry, there's a way to check the audit history on your account.

The Audit log allows you to see the changes made to your books and who made them. It also tracks user login/logout activity, changes to settings, customers, suppliers, and employees. Since you're looking for what happened with the transactions, review the following steps for further instructions.

Here are the steps on how to access the audit log:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Select Apply.

I encourage you to check the audit log and see what happened what happened to your saved invoices. If you're not seeing the invoice in the audit log, there's a chance that they weren't saved. To prevent this, I recommend making sure you're saving the invoices and refreshing your screen to verify.
