Question

I have an invoice where I cannot "turn on" the online payment option. I have a customer that wants to pay be credit card

I have my account already set up to allow online payments but on some invoices the online payment features defaults to "off" and I cannot turn it "on."

Welcome to Community!  It's great to hear that you're providing customers the option to 'pay now' directly from their invoice.  QuickBooks Online Payments is a great feature that allows you to get paid quicker and have the funds automatically deposited into your business account.  When this feature isn't available on selected invoices, it would be due to the restrictions of the Payments feature.  I'd be happy to provide some insight on this.

 

Credit card payments are only accepted using Canadian currency with cards such as Discover, MasterCard, Visa and Apple Pay.  If you're invoicing customers that are setup with foreign currencies you won't have the option to allow them to pay through the invoice, and this would be why the feature is 'grayed out'.
