I have misspelled a name of a purchaser. I want to correct this without making a new customer record

Hi there, 

 

QuickBooks Online makes it easy for you to make changes and edits as your business evolves. It's important that you can adjust the names of your suppliers, customers, and even employees. I'd be happy to explain the steps for adjusting the name of your purchaser/customer without impacting their current record. 

 

Here's what you'll do:


1. Click the Sales tab on the left navigation menu. 

2. Select Customers

3. Click on the customer you want to edit. 

4. Select Edit in the top right-hand corner. 

5. Edit their information as needed. 

6. Click Save
