Question

I have tried to turn the sound off when taking a pic of a receipt, have followed the QB instructions and it still makes that horrible noise. I have a Samsung S20 ultra.

If those are the steps you've already tried, I'd like to take you through another test. Please try taking a picture on your Samsung not using the QuickBooks Online app. In this case, you'd just open up the camera app and take a random picture. Make note of if the sound is still there even after turning it off. If it is, it could be an issue with your device, and I recommend getting in touch with Samsung support to learn what to do to tackle this.

 

If you don't hear the sound, but you do still hear it when using the QuickBooks Online mobile app, first try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Once you've done that, try the feature again.
