Question

I'm using the snap receipt function the input receipts. Why is the GSt / PST being calculated incorrectly?

When I try to input the correct amount the app crashes.

Hi aspencoast-gmail,

 

It's essential that you're able to upload your receipts in QuickBooks Online with confidence, from any device.  I'd be happy to provide some insight for this!

 

With regards to your app, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling it to ensure it's up to date or login to your account from a web browser at www.qbo.ca.  You may also want to try emailing the receipts, save them to a folder and when time permits, upload them into the receipt feature to see if you get the same result.

 

In addition, QuickBooks Online stays up to date with how sales tax is tracked based on your Province's tax laws.  If the sales tax isn't calculating properly, you may need to review how you have it setup.  For your reference here's an article to help with your Sales Tax Setup.
