QBSE CA version only provides a single currency (i.e CAD). If your company is located in the US, you should open QBSE US version to use USD.

Otherwise you may have to 2 options to deal with multi currency transactions:

1. Utilize this app to accept payment or pay bill in CAD and your client/vendor will deal it with their local currency. This app only supports QBO but may use it as the workaround.
