Question

I recently sent a customer their first invoice. The name of a company they received an invoice from previously also appeared.

Is this likely a storage cache issue?

Initially, I would agree that clearing cache on your browser is a step in the right direction.  However, there are several areas that need to be updated if you've recently changed the company name.

Here's how to change the Company Name;

1. Open Settings ⚙ in the top right and select Account and settings

2. Click on Company from the left menu

3. Hit the Edit ✎ to the right of the Company name section

4. Make the necessary corrections

Note; If the legal name is the same as the company name, checkmark the box for Same as company name

5. When finished, hit Save and then Done

Follow these steps for Email Messages;

1. Go to Account and Settings from Settings ⚙
2. Choose Sales from the left menu

3. Click on the Edit ✎ to the right of the Messages section

4. Make the necessary changes in the Email section

5. Hit Save and then Done when complete

Here's a helpful guide for your reference, if you feel other areas also need to be updated.
