Question

I require the ability to invoice out a large project estimated in small invoices but by the products and amounts takin each time not by a dollar value. is this possible?

Welcome to the Community. When it comes to managing your income and expenses, QuickBooks is the go-to program that helps make your work easier. I'll be happy to provide more information so you're on the right path for achieving your accounting goals. 

 

The closest feature to what you've described would be our feature called Progress Invoicing. This feature enables you to you split an estimate into as many invoices as you need. Instead of asking for full payment at the beginning of the project, you can invoice customers for partial payments. As you complete work, add items from the initial estimate to progress invoices. I encourage you to check out this helpful article for more info on how: Set up and send progress invoices in QuickBooks Online. Give this a try and let me know how you make out. Otherwise, I recommend consulting your accountant so you can get expert advice on how to record transactions such as the one you've described above.

that is what I need but I require to be able to invoice out smaller quantites of each product not a percentage or dollar value each time they are picked up.

Say a customer orders 100 tv's but is only taking a couple at a time. 

I need to be able to invoice out 7 Lg tvs and 3 samsung for the first load.

it would work for one item but when they are taking 30 different items and only a couple of the total number ordered at a time.

just need a quantity option 5 of 100 not a % or dollar value option. 

when you click on quantity on the processive invoice it only give dollar or percent options not a quantity.

I see. The function you've described isn't available and I recommend looking into third-party apps from our app store www.apps.com. The app store is a library of apps that allow you to integrate with QuickBooks for various purposes including Invoice management.
