Hi krosin,

I can see the importance of being able to filter your reports in order to bring your financials into focus. I'll be happy to steer you on the right path so you can continue to use the program with peace of mind. QuickBooks offers a variety of reports that help you get the info you need in a well-organized format.

I'd like to start off by doing some troubleshooting to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Have you recently cleared cache and cookies on your browser? This is a good method which you can use to clean your browser allowing it to work more efficiently. Here's an article that shows you how to do that: How to clear cache and cookies. If this doesn't work, I suggest using a private/incognito window to see if that works instead. Another reason why the report may be breaking is that there may be large amounts of data to display in just one date range. A workaround would be to run your reports in quarters instead and see what happens when you try that. So for example, instead of filtering Jan - December, you can break down the dates from Jan to Apr, May - Aug, etc.

I encourage you to try this out and let me know how you make out in the comments below. I'll be a message away.
