Question

I've created an invoice and in the middle (product/service) section, it has the word 'Charges' before listing out the work performed. How do I remove this?

It doesn't show in the 'customize' screen, but it does when I create an actual customer invoice - help please!

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  Ensuring you're able to complete your invoices without delay is essential, to save valuable time and get you back to what you love.  QuickBooks Online has the features you need to automatically enter items on your forms.  I'd be happy to help!

 

Based on the information you've provided, I recommend taking a look at 'automation' and turn it off.  Here's how;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ in the top right of your QuickBooks Online account

2. Select Account & settings

3. Open the Advanced tab

4. Scroll down to Automation

5. Click on the Edit ✎ to the far right

6. Set the toggle switch to off for Pre-fill forms with previously entered content

7. Hit Save and then Done
